Presence and active-now
TrueSay can show when you're online. You can turn that off any time — it's per-account and instant.
What it is
Presence is the green dot that says someone's online. TrueSay can show your presence to mutuals, or to nobody — your call. It's also tied to "active now" in DMs.
How to use it
Open Settings → Privacy → Presence. Pick Mutuals only, Followers, or Off.
If you flip presence off, "active now" indicators in DMs go off too — both directions. You won't see other people's dots either.
Need to go invisible for a moment without changing settings? Tap your avatar in the inbox and turn on Appear offline. Resets next time you open the app, or when you toggle it back.
Why it matters
The green dot is a small thing that does a lot of work in your social life — it tells someone "I'm avoiding you" or "I'm here, just slow." Both are sometimes true. We'd rather give you a clean off-switch than a fake one that pings the other person anyway. This is a no on the sneaky-presence pattern.
